Driving to La Grande Michellerie is simple following the auto route system. It is possible to drive the entire route from Calais, in around 5-6 hours, without departing from the auto route except for the last 20 kilometers.
For those who are a little more adventerous or would like to see more of the beauties of France can always choose one of several alternative routes.
